Hi. I'm Lauren. I'm a happily married, 40-something-ish wife and mother. In June of 2008, at 324 lbs, I started Weight Watchers with my husband, Frank. He has since lost 118 lbs, hit his goal weight of 200 lbs and has been maintaining his weight to within 10 lbs or so ever since. I got down to about 260 lbs, then maintained that for over a year. I need to buckle down and try harder to exercise consistently if I'm going to make it the rest of the way. I have 85 lbs left to lose to get to my goal weight of 175 lbs. (that goal may change later, but for now that's what I'm shooting for)
It's hard though, because I have a few physical/health challenges which make it very difficult to exercise as often as I should. I got the idea to start a cooking/food/fitness/healthy lifestyle blog from a couple of other people I know who have them. I like reading theirs, so I decided to give it a try myself.
