Half of the pizza (4 pieces) came to 18.5 points. We dipped into our 35 "extra" weekly flex points for this meal. Frank wasn't nuts about the spaghetti sauce on the pizza, so I won't do that again. He prefers authentic pizza sauce (which uses oregano instead of basil) so I'll make my own pizza sauce next time. He said it wasn't bad though. And I love basil in almost anything, so I liked it just fine. Although not 'healthy' per se, it was definitely better for us than if we'd gone to a pizza parlor for it. Oh, and naturally it goes without saying that we had our pizza with a small salad.
Dessert was a 2 point cup of Weight Watchers chocolate fudge brownie ice cream with a couple tablespoons of light whipped cream from a can (0 points) on it. Mmm, mmm good! (the WW ice cream is honestly delicious - it doesn't taste like 'diet' ice cream at all) :)

Homemade pizza
We love pizza. Sadly, it's not a health food. :( Still we treat ourselves once in a while. Most of the time I make it when we feel the need to splurge like this. Last night was one of those nights. I made this pizza (on my Pampered Chef baking stone) with whole wheat pizza crust from Trader Joe's (found in the refrigerated section), leftover spaghetti sauce from Friday night, an 8 oz. bag of Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese (made from 2% milk), and 1 oz. of pepperoni. (I overcooked it by about 3 minutes, but it was still very good)
