Tai Pei frozen Chinese food

Frank isn't coming straight home from work tonight, so I'm eating solo. I was a bad girl and forgot to eat lunch today. (I was scrapbooking without a clock downstairs -- need I say more?) So when I came back upstairs at suppertime I was suddenly absolutely famished. I know it's not good to let myself get that hungry. I usually try very hard not to do that. Bad Lauren!

The points WW gives you to eat for the day are the MINIMUM number of points (calories, etc) you should be eating every day, so it's important to eat ALL of your daily points. Otherwise your body will go into starvation mode and hoard the calories you consume. Case in point: the 2nd week we were on WW, I deliberately ate 9 - 10 points LESS per day than I was supposed to, and I GAINED a pound and a half! So, since I skipped lunch, I'll have to make sure to have a substantial snack in a few hours so I can get the rest of my points in for the day.

I ate these two entrees for dinner, along with 2/3 cup of brown rice (3 points). The Garlic Shrimp is 4 points (for the whole container), and the General Tso's Chicken is 4.5 points. (also for the whole container) The containers may look big, but once it cooks down, the food only takes up slightly less than half the container. (I wonder how many more times I can use the word "container" in this section?) Container.

This was my 11.5 point dinner. The two entrees were mostly veggies - so although I'm full, I'm not uncomfortably full. Just very satisfied. Sadly, there's no room in my tummy for salad tonight. :( I really like salad.

I decided I felt like ending my meal with a cup of blueberry tea. I put a tbsp of honey in it for 1 point. It was delicious. I still have 10 points left for the day that I need to eat, so I'm thinking a little later I'll have some 1/3 less fat cream cheese on a few multi-grain crackers, with a peach and maybe a small glass of skim milk. Yum! :)
